Is there a minimum yardage required?
Yes, we have a one yard minimum per fabric. After one yard, you can purchase 1/4 yard increments, however, this is currently only available in-store as our online system only supports 1 yard increments. If you would like to purchase in 1/4 yard increments, you can contact us here. Please provide the SKU of the fabric and the yardage required. We will send you a custom invoice.
Where does your fabric come from?
We purchase fabric from all over the world. Most of our fabric is purchased from fashion houses and designers, however, we also work with textile mills to provide our customers with large quantities and reorderable goods.
What is your return policy?
We cannot accept returns or exchanges on any fabric since fabric is cut to order. If the fabric arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work out the issue on a case by case basis. For our full return policy, click here.
How can I be sure of the color of the fabric?
We do our best to provide accurate pictures, however, colors will always vary across device screens. It is impossible to guarantee that the color you see on your device will match the color of the fabric, therefore, we highly encourage all customers to order a swatch before purchasing. Swatches are available for most fabrics, however, if there is no option to order a swatch we may be able to help you by sending a swatch of another fabric with the same color.
What can I expect from a swatch?
Swatches are only for color, texture, and weight. Depending on the fabric, the swatch will most likely not display the entire motif of the fabric. Swatch sizes are not guaranteed and vary depending on the fabric, however, you can expect anywhere from 3"x5" to 5"x7". We try our best to provide all colors of the fabric in the swatch. Swatch prices vary depending on the price of the fabric.
Is your in-store catalogue the same as your online catalogue?
Any product online is available in our store (located in NYC), however, our store will always have more fabric than our website. If you cannot find something online, please contact us and we will let you know if we have it in-store.
What are my shipping options?
At checkout, you should see all available options for your location along with estimated delivery times. Swatches are always shipped for free in the U.S. and are usually sent via USPS letter mail. All U.S. domestic orders over $200 automatically qualify for free shipping. This offer is only available through our website.
Are discounts and other offers available both in-store and online?
Any discounts or offers online are not available in-store and vice versa. Sometimes, they will coincide, however they are generally kept separate.
What if my package is lost or damaged while in transit?
We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by the shipping carrier, however, we will help you try to resolve the issue with the carrier.
Will my fabric arrive in one cut or multiple cuts?
We will always try to provide your fabric in one piece, however, sometimes our inventory is the sum of multiple rolls. If it is impossible to provide you with one piece, we will always contact you before anything is done to make sure you can work with the size of the cuts we can offer.
How accurate is your inventory?
Typically, we measure rolls after every cut, however, there will always be discrepancies due to various reasons (swatches, cutting extra for tolerance, minor damage, finding another roll etc.). We will always contact you if we are short and if the quantity no longer works for your project, we will refund you the full amount. If you need more quantity than is shown online, you can contact us and we will check our store to see if we have more and let you know exactly how much we have in stock. Our system doesn’t accept fractional quantites, so oftentimes we might have up to 7/8 of a yard more or less than the inventory shown online.
